What happens when control over content, style and design for a website like this get turned over to an unconventional, controversial and unapologetic "punk monk"?I guess we're all about to find out!

I'm very grateful for the assistance, input and contributions made by members of the Sangha, who developed and maintained the website for Dharmadude Unplugged over the past two years. Especially during the recovery period from my first reconstructive/orthopaedic surgery, your commitment and dedication made it possible for the content on this site to remain fresh.

Following some disgraceful displays from several of the online Buddhist "personalities", who wilfully attempted to manipulate the sincere, loving and respectful traditions of my students into appearing cult-like, with vile accusations of "self-aggrandising" and insinuations of heresy, etc., I decided the buck stops here.

So I am back!

I hope you'll find the new format interesting, and consider ways that you can use this information as inspiration to get up, get out there and do whatever you can to help those suffering, marginalised, hungry, sick or dying. Because at the end of the day, unless I succeed at inspiring you to do that, there is no reason for this website to exist.
